Facebook has nearly 2.5 billion users, and is one of the oldest social online networks. It has evolved from a Harvard University student Website, to a multibillion-dollar ad-driven site with over 140 million businesses. And the network is not going away for small business, as indicated by this recent quote by Mark Zuckerberg.

“The area we are most focused on is helping small businesses…Over the next decade, we hope to build the commerce and payments tools so that every small business has easy access to the same technology that previously only big businesses have had.” January 2020

Why Facebook Marketing?

Big draws to Facebook include creating awareness of businesses and nonprofits and connecting with communities. A professional and targeted quality page can also improve your online and brand reputation, improve List of Facebook featurescustomer service and increase leads and sales. All of this is available to organizations of any size.

Facebook pages and accounts are created and maintained for free. However, it’s well known that most pages need to be advertised for users to see their content. That is, unless you have unlimited time to manage the page organically. 

The good news is that your ad campaign can be cost effective, as part of a monthly social media marketing plan. We have a questionnaire to help us develop a plan that is best for you.

Does my business/organization need to be on Facebook?

It depends. If your organization relies upon the support of friends, family or community, then you will most likely benefit from a Facebook presence.

Having said that, social media is not one-size-fits-all. For instance, if targeting B2B is part of your marketing plan, then you may want to focus on LinkedIn marketing, not Facebook. We can help you with proper marketing research to determine whether you would benefit from Facebook marketing.

What if I can’t afford to market my business on social?

Simply stated, you can’t afford not to. In order to increase awareness of your organization and its products/services, you need to be where your customers are. We help you target the best social media networks for your business.
